Turkish occupation army artillery targeted the oldest mosques in Jindressa

AFRIN-Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries targeted the old Salah al-Din mosque in Jindressa area with guns and destroyed large parts of the mosque, while the Holy Qur’an books remained under the rubble, which were later retrieved by the people.

The Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries continue to shell Afrin canton with artillery, heavy weapons and aircraft, while targeting the civilians’ homes, archaeological and holy sites, causing great destruction in those places.

The Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries targeted Salah al-Din al-Ayubi Mosque, which was established in 1961 in Jindressa district of Afrin canton. The mosque is one of the oldest mosques in Afrin canton. The mosque includes several sections of worship and reading Qur’an.

The mosque consists of 2 sections, one for worshipers and the other for women. The mosque has more than 100 worshipers.
